I sometimes take advantage of a last minute upgrade when I fly. On a 787 that means a lie flat bed, so it’s often worth the price. This time, I chose not to due to how expensive the upgrade was.
Then I took another look and realized that wasn’t the right price because I knew what those members meant. I went to the ticketing counter to sort it out. At first they tried to tell me that was correct amount, but I pointed out this price was more than their most expensive ticket as a one-way fare.
We worked it out, likely because they hadn’t actually sold any seat upgrades at that price.
If you know why this number stands out as an error, leave a comment.
